MONEY MATTERS
Here I am having some fun in a spoof video trying to raise money for our company by selling the Peabody Award.
And...

I'd moved to New York from Charlotte, NC where for 18 years I was a professional puppeteer, performing across the country and producing puppet shows for both theater and television. The art of puppetry had intrigued me since childhood.

As a junior in high school puppetry helped me get my foot in the door of the local CBS affiliated station in Columbia, SC. For the next 6 years, I soaked up all I could about how television works hosting and producing a weekly children's show, "Stanley the Clown."

After college, I was drafted during the Vietnam War, but was fortunate to be assigned as a broadcast specialist for American Forces Korean Network in Seoul.

My first full-time civilian job was back in Charlotte, where I spent 11 years in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools' instructional television division, writing, producing and hosting dozens of programs, including a nationally distributed children's series on holidays and three historical docudramas.
